Katherine Heigl departs Grey’s Anatomy.
She is officially done with the drama. Shonda Rhimes has let her out of her contract 18 months early and supposedly the reason is being a new Mom. She doesn’t want anyone thinking it has to do with her budding movie career. Her and husband singer Josh Kelly did adopt earlier this year and motherhood has consumed most of her time.
