Forbes.com has released its annual list of the most valuable teams in Major League Baseball.

Forbes calculates their estimates, based on, revenue earned from ticket sales and TV deals, player salaries, operating costs, and other factors.

The Pittsburgh Pirates ranked at the bottom of the list of the Most Valuable MLB clubs.

Check it out, the New York Yankees are worth almost twice as much as the next team, Boston Red Sox, and the Yankees are worth five and half times more than the Pirates.

Theoretically, if the Pirates could offer a player a contract worth $20 Million, the Yankees could just as easily offer one worth $110 Million.

The bottom 5 clubs included:

Pittsburgh Pirates – $289 Million
Oakland Athletics – $295 Million
Tampa Bay Rays – $316 Million
Florida Marlins – $317 Million
Toronto Blue Jays – $326 Million

The Top 5 Clubs don’t come as a big surprise:

New York Yankees – $1.6 Billion
Boston Red Sox – $870 Million
New York Mets – $858 Million
Los Angeles Dodgers – $727 Million
Chicago Cubs – $726 Million

Who Cares?!  LET’S GO BUCS!!
