Zack’s Flashback Friday

lauryn hill Zacks Flashback Friday

It’s the first Friday of 2011 and today we’ll Flashback with Lauryn Hill.

Today’s we’re going back to 1998 with [lastfm link_type=”artist_info”]Lauryn Hill[/lastfm] and her song, “Doo Wop (That Thing)”

Lauryn made some waves last week when she showed up to her concert 4 hours late.  The show was scheduled to begin at 8pm in New York City and she didn’t show up until Midnight.  When she showed up, people were holding up hand-written signs that said, “You Just Lost One,” and “This Is Insulting.”

Lauryn then told the fans in the audience, “Don’t do that, that’s disrespectful.”  She then motioned towards the exits for them to leave.

Then she told the crowd, “I spent my entire 20s sacrificing my life to give you love.  So when I hear people complain, I don’t know what to tell you.  I personally know I’m worth the wait.”

Conceited much?
