After going off on CBS, Warner Bros, and show creator Chuck Lorre, Charlie Sheen has been fired from Two and a Half Men.
Warner Bros. released a statement Monday afternoon that said, “After careful consideration, Warner Bros. Television has terminated Charlie Sheen’s services on ‘Two and a Half Men’ effective immediately.”
After finding out, Charlie Sheen told TMZ, “This is very good news. They continue to be in breach, like so many whales. It is a big day of gladness at the Sober Valley Lodge because now I can take all of the bazillions, never have to look at whatshiscock again and I never have to put on those silly shirts for as long as this warlock exists in the terrestrial dimension.”
Sheen’s termination comes two weeks after production on the show had been put on hiatus for the rest of the season.
Sheen has also been doing a series of web shows on UStream called “Sheen’s Corner”
No word on the future of Two and a Half Men, without Sheen. We’ll probably find out in May when the networks unveil their fall line-ups.
