Pay your bills, count your chickens, check your tires, and check your attitude! This week, mischievous Mercury (the sign of communication) goes retrograde in Aries through April 23rd. If you act like a know-it-all at this time, your words will get misconstrued as outright arrogance, so try to keep yourself extra humble the next couple of weeks.

Especially this weekend, when war-craving Mars also moves into Aries. All signs should keep their head low, their facts right, and don’t do anything scandalous that could fire up your haters.

It’s not all bad. When Mercury slows down, it gives you a breather to actually start focusing on details and not just move at a frenetic pace. Want to know more specifics? Go forth and read the details on your sun sign! If you know your rising sign, read that too.

Hello, nurse! Five planets are engaging in some hardcore games on the Aries playground this week. Starting this weekend, Aries’ ruling planet Mars joins the Sun, Mercury, Jupiter and Uranus on the Aries jungle gym.

We bet you can already feel the heat. Aries, you will have extra dynamic energy; You could sell ice to an Eskimo if only your mojo wasn’t so hot it would melt it.

This all sounds fantastic and usually it would be the perfect time for you to go out on dates, speak in public, or get half a years worth of ideas cemented into the minds of those that matter. But remember–Mercury is in retrograde.

Even though you feel like rushing forward and skimming over the stuff you deem superficial, take a deep breath and make sure you do everything impeccably. If you have to sign a contract, make sure you know what it says. If you have turn in a report for work, make sure you read over the thing three more times than you normally would.

Be patient and detail-oriented with your new-found energy and great things are bound to happen in the next six months.
