A glimpse at an Oscar and Grammy Award winner in a setting smaller than an arena is a rarity – but it happens.
It’s happening Monday, June 13, when Jennifer Hudson’s free streaming Live On Letterman concert from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York starts at 9 p.m. ET (Don’t forget you can see the entire performance HERE).
It also happened days before the R&B superstar released her current CD, “I Remember Me.” With her Davids (her fiance and their year-old son) up front and just off to the right, clapping along, Hudson performed for an audience of mere hundreds at V-103′s “Soul Session.” And as if the W Atlanta-Midtown ballroom wasn’t intimate enough, the singer-actress was actually walking through the aisles crooning the song that rocketed her to international prominence: “And I’m Telling You I’m Not Going,” from “Dreamgirls.”
