Amy Winehouse’s ‘Back To Black’ Dress Auctioned Off For $68,000
The dress that [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Amy Winehouse[/lastfm] wore on the cover of her ‘Back To Black’ album was auctioned off for $68,000.
The Hollywood Reporter says, the dress is a printed chiffon, that Amy wore on the cover of her album. Pre-sale estimates, put the sale at 10,000-20,000 pounds, but it actually sold for 43,000 pounds, or $68,000. Santiago, Chile’s Museo de la Moda was the winner of the auction.
The Amy Winehouse Foundation will benefit from the sale of the dress. The foundation was set up by her father, to help young people struggling with health, addiciton and poverty.
Amy will have a new album debut on December 5th.
