Rihanna is allegedly the front runner to play Whitney Houston in a biopic that is already in the works by her former mentor Clive Davis.

Who else is being recognized to play Whitney?

Whitney’s biopic is already in the works with Clive Davis at the lead.  Supposedly, according to MTV, Willow Smith..the daughter of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith may play Whitney as a young child.

The others considered have been American Idol stars, Jennifer Hudson and Jordin Sparks.  Jennifer Hudson, of course, sang “I Will Always Love You” at the Grammy’s and her rendition was beautiful.

Jordin Sparks just starred in the movie “Sparkle” with her and that is set to be released in August.

Another actress in the running is Vivica A. Fox.

We shall see who gets the lead and if the biopic even gets made.
