Perez Hilton has been behind the Kat Graham project for a couple of years, adding her as a performer to the star studded line up for his Mad Hatter birthday party most recently.
While The Vampire Diaries actress has released music in the past, perhaps her most notable single was a cover of Paula Abdul’s “Cold Hearted Snake.”
In February, Graham announced her record deal with A&M Octone Records. Earlier this week, she released her new video for latest single “Put Your Graffiti On Me.”
The video features Graham clad in neon and studs, with a huge slick ponytail that she whips around a la Willow Smith’s “Whip My Hair.” And of course, she is using graffiti on the set, because why wouldn’t she?

We dare you not to bounce around in your chair when the chorus hits. Not many people can get away with a cow bell as the main instrument for their hook, but she does.
What do you think of her latest single?
In a recent behind the scenes video to “Put Your Graffiti On Me,” Graham talked of what motivates her.
“There are different people that inspire me to work harder and be a better artist because they are so great. But, I think you in the end have to be your greatest motivator because nobody else is going to do it for you. Nobody else is going to do what you have to do for yourself,” she said.
