If you watched American Idol last night you saw the sweet proposal of past American Idol alums Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo.  If you missed that LIVE proposal..watch it here.

Diana was runner up in season 3 (Fantasia Barrino won that year)  and Ace was a finalist in season 5.  You may or may not remember them, but it still was a sweet gesture on live TV..even if ACE gave a shout out to the jeweler that probably helped him afford that rock!  HA!

Ace Young talked to Bubba and I LAST year at the American Idol media day.  He was awesome and even admitted his love for our Pittsburgh Pirates by sporting the Bucs hat.

This is the first American Idol couple that we know of that dated and now are marrying.  A.I. returns for season 12 in early 2013.  Will we see an American Idol live televised wedding?  American Idol baby soon too?
