No summer is complete without the perfect song. With Memorial Day right around the corner —marking the season’s unofficial start—we’ve rounded up some choice tunes that might find their way onto this summer’s playlist.

We’ve managed to narrow it down to thirteen: some that are already being played on the radio and others that you’ll hear soon, probably over and over and over again. But only one of these can be the winner.

Give each song a listen and vote for your favorite below. Then check back to find out which one is crowned the official song of summer.

Gotye “Somebody That I Used To Know”
Yes, this is already one of the biggest hits of the year, but the hooky breakup song, might be the somber tone you need after a day in the hot summer sun.

Apparently people love fist pumping to this one, that’s a fun summer activity, right?

This laid-back one from Mayer is perfect for those backyard BBQs.

This bouncy ode to young love, which was recently performed by the Glee kids, has that happy-go-lucky feeling that’s perfect for the season.

Summer brings out the kid in all of us and no matter how many times you’ve heard this one, you still want to sing along at the top of your lungs.

Don’t waste your summer waiting by the phone. Instead listen to this song on full blast.

The Wanted “Chasing The Sun”
Turn this on when you’re catching rays at the beach.

Carrie Underwood “Good Girl”
With this rocker, the married singer lends some helpful advice for all anyone going out on those hot summer nights.

Jon McLaughlin ft. Sara Bareilles- “Summer is Over”
Summer lovin’ happened so fast, but once it’s over this duet will be there to make things better.

Neon Trees “Everybody Talks”
This new one from the band that brought us “Animal” is perfect for all those beach blanket bingo parties.

For all those people looking to soundtrack an adrenaline-fueled summer. Plus, the song’s action packed video mimics some of the best summer blockbusters.
