10 Fast Facts About Joe Manganiello
We know he’s insanely hot. We also know he’s originally from Pittsburgh. 1. It was an act from the beginning
Joe wrote, directed and starred in a movie made for extra credit in his chemistry class in which all of his friends starred.
2. Multi-talented AND good looking
Joe sang backup vocals for the band, The Used, on their song Hospital from their album Lies for the Liars. He also traveled the world as a roadie for the rock band Goldfinger.
3. Aye aye captain
Manganiello used to get paid to dress up like Captain Morgan at bars here in Pittsburgh.
4. Not afraid to get down and dirty
Joe used to shovel sand and gravel off a truck and do demolitions for a construction company.
5. Boxer or……
Joe trained as a boxer and was a former sparring partner of NHL player Brantt Myhres.
6. Everyone loves a parade…..
Especially when Joe Manganiello is part of it. He was honored as the Grand Marshall of the 2010 Macy’s Celebrate the Season Parade here in Pittsburgh.
7. Please protect ME Joe
Did you know Joe was a former bodyguard of singer/actor Tyrese Gibson? He can be my bodyguard anytime. Yes. I just typed that.
8. Is THIS any surprise?
Joe was named one of the world’s 25 Fittest Guys of 2011 according to Men’s Fitness Magazine. Did you SEE him at the MTV Movie Awards….Yeah. I get why. Just a little.
9. He definitely adds the spice to food
In 2010, Manganiello appeared in television commercials for Taco promoting its new product, the Tortada. Yum.
10. Quite the narrator
Joe has also narrated Dragon Bones, and Dragon Blood,two fantasy novels by New York Times best-selling author Patria Briggs. These are the first two books in the Hurog series and are produced by Buzzy Multimedia.
