Neon Trees Talk The Coolest Places To Perform
Neon Trees visited 100.7 Star before their Pittsburgh appearance at Altar Bar and played a few warm-up tunes in the Baierl Acura Theater.
Before launching into an intimate performance of their hit, “Everybody Talks”, the guys on the band dished on a couple great places to play and people to play for.
When asked about the coolest club they’ve ever played, the guys in the band offered up a couple of different venues. Guitarist Chris Allen says his top choice is the 9:30 Club in DC.
Lead singer Tyler Glenn, opted for a more far away place to play – across the pond: “the Roundhouse in London is probably the coolest venue I ever stepped foot in, it’s really neat.”
Actor/comedian George Lopez even got a nod from the Trees as being one of the greatest people to play for. Glenn says “he’s the nicest celebrity I’ve ever met.”
Neon Trees are currently on tour through early October.
