After his latest health scare and hospitalization, hip hop heavyweight Lil Wayne took time to thank his fans for the prayers, support and well wishes.
The rapper was hospitalized after a severe migraine and dehydration last week.
According to Lil Wayne’s management team, The Blueprint Group, the rapper is on “mandated rest.” He was reportedly released from a hospital Friday and is expected to return to work soon. The New Orleans native took to his Twitter page over the weekend to show love to his fans for their outpouring of support and devotion to him during is ailment:

On Thursday of last week, the rapper’s plane was forced to make an emergency landing in Texas after Lil Wayne suffered a severe migraine as well as dehydration. It was also reported that he suffered seizure-like symptoms; his management team, however denied that the rapper suffered seizure-like symptoms.
The multi-platinum performer is currently working on a follow-up to his last album Tha Carter IV.
Last month he released Dedication 4, the latest contribution to his hit mixtape series.
