Last time we saw Glee- over a month ago- our favorite couples were breaking up. On this week’s episode, we won’t see much making up, but we will see some hand jiving..

Why you may ask? Well, it seems McKinley High is getting ready to put on their own production of Grease, or Glease, as the show is affectionately calling it.

This episode, “The Role You Were Born To Play,” focuses on the casting of the musical. Of course the biggest question is which Glee gal will get to don those famous leather pants to play Sandy?

It seems to be between Marley and Kitty, but Blaine could really care less about all that. He’s still mourning his break-up with Kurt and on “Hopelessly Devoted To You” he gets to the sad truth and gives Olivia Newton-John a run for her money.

The rest of New Directions though is getting their dance on with a little help from recent grads Mercedes and Harry on “Born To Hand Jive.”

But even though Grease is the word, the gang gets a chance to perform a few other pop hits this time around.

Finn is back in Lima, but he couldn’t be less happy about it. His duet with newbie Ryder (played by the Glee Project’s Blake Jenner) to Foreigner’s “Juke Box Hero” though seems to show some promise. Perhaps he’ll pick up the pieces and get out of his funk.

Sue, once again showing her mean side, spends this episode insulting Unique, but seems to have a little trouble coming up with a sarcastic nickname for Marley.  Her final attempt “absolutely stunning kind faced blue eyed girl” just doesn’t have that bite we’re used too.

On the other hand the two girls show off their sassy sides when they sing Pink’s “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” and bond over their inability to fit in.

With a new guy in the picture, Jake seems to be a little concerned whether he blew his chances with Marley. It doesn’t hurt that his ex-girlfriend Kitty is all up in his business. But their duet to “Everybody Talks” by Neon Trees lets us know these two can still make beautiful music together.

Who would you rather see play Sandy: Kitty or Marley?

Better yet, who should play Danny?
