It’s not as if the singer and The Voice coach has been bashful over the past few years, but it looks like Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine is preparing to kick it all into high gear in 2013.
In his first few Tweets of the new year, he let fans know that he doesn’t plan on growing up anytime soon, he just plans on being more awesome.
New Years resolution: be more awesome.

When someone tells me “grow up” I always answer with, “why?”

Based on the numerous replies Adam received, it’s unclear to fans how he plans on being any more awesome than he already is; but his latest communiqué promises to give them more to swoon at on screen. Adam announced on Thursday that he will be guest hosting the January 26th episode of the show, sharing the stage with musical guest Kendrick Lamar.
Ladies and gents, I will be making my hosting debut on #SNL saturday january 26th with kick ass musical guest @kendricklamar!!!

Expectations are high for Adam, as his coaching position on The Voice gave us a chance to see his playful banter and his cameo last fall on American Horror Story showed off his serious acting chops.
Production has also recently finished up on the Keira Knightley & Mark Ruffalo film Can a Song Save Your Life? which Adam also has a major role in.
