For better or worse, the last week has been a big one for Lady Gaga. Tours and Twitter wars are just a few of the ups and downs she encountered.
Gaga took everything in stride though. Here are 5 things we learned this week about Mother Monster.
1. Lady Gaga Takes The High Road
Lady Gaga was caught up in a Twitter feud this week with Kelly Osbourne. The fashion critic had some harsh words for Little Monsters everywhere after continually ending up on the receiving end of crude remarks and wishes of misfortune that include rape and death. Osbourne even took a direct shot at Gaga in 2009, calling her a “butterface.”
Gaga responded to Osbourne with a message on open letter posted to her littlemonsters.com asking Kelly to share her stories of past bullying and spread a positive message.
2. Gaga Will Always Go Big, Never Go Home
Once you think she’s topped herself, Lady Gaga goes and one ups herself yet again. Mother Monster isn’t just touring in 2013, she’s bringing a bus with her.
Gaga revealed the Born Brave Bus, a part of her Born This Way campaign, on Monday (January 14) before the first show of the tour in Tacoma, Washington. She was there to personally christen the bus which features a tailgating experience unlike any other. “At the BornBrave Bus, you have access to professional private or group chats about mental health, bullying, school and friends,” Gaga announced on Twitter.
3. Lady Gaga Is A Gracious Loser
Lady Gaga has sat atop as queen of Twitter for quite some time now with 33,191,054 followers and counting. But Gaga noticed the unstoppable force known as Justin Bieber is slowly, but surely, catching up with her with 33,143,222 at publish of this post.
Instead of a Presidential like slander campaign to remain the reigning queen, Lady Gaga congratulated Bieber on Twitter:
So proud of @justinbieber and all the Beliebers! I’m only happy to see your fans growing in size, you all deserve it! Monsters support you!

4. Lady Gaga Hates Pants
Or pants hate her. While performing in Vancouver, BC, Gaga split her pants at the seem, exposing her derrière to the crowd. Gaga took it all in stride and didn’t let the moment, which would mortify most, ruin the night.

5. Gaga Will Always Be Controversial
Despite her positive attitude, Lady Gaga will always be turning heads and making headlines. While performing in Vancouver, BC, Gaga performed in her plastic assault rifle. Due to the recent tragedy at Newtown, many called the wardrobe choice insensitive while others proclaimed it to be a form of expression.
