Another weekend is here and you may even have Martin Luther King Day off Monday. Enjoy your long weekend if you have it and enjoy some of the FREE events you can take part it in and always remember MLK.

There will be ton of outdoor fun at Moraine State Park this weekend if you aren’t afraid of a little cold weather!  It is the 3rd annual Moraine Winterfest on Saturday the 19th!  11am-5pm McDanels Launch on their north shore is FREE admission, kids activities, ice skating, cross country skiing and music!  Look at all the information here.

FREE opera song recital on January 20th at 2425 Liberty Avenue in the Strip District.  It will be at the George R. White Opera Studio at the Pittsburgh Opera.  These beautiful recitals are FREE and open to the public on January 20th.   Click here for the website.

For Martin Luther King Day day On Monday January 21st you can see a FREE performance presented by Kelly Strayhorn Theatre from 12-4pm.  It will be celebrating the legacy of Dr. King at the East Liberty location.  Check the information here before you go.

Tuesday night January 22nd don’t forget to head to IKEA for fun!  You can make some FREE fun winter crafts in the restaurant 5-7pm!  Take the kiddos!  Look here!
