For more than a week, Beyoncé has been the center of speculation and criticism for her alleged lip-syncing of the National Anthem at President Obama’s second Inauguration.
Since Inauguration Day, she has remained silent on the subject. Until now.
During the Super Bowl XLVII Halftime Show press conference held Thursday, Beyoncé seems to have answered her critics.
She stepped to the podium, asked the audience: “Would you guys mind standing?” Then she began to sing the ‘Star-Spangled Banner’.
She later, promised she would sing live during her halftime performance.
“I am well rehearsed and I will absolutely be singing live. This is what I was born to do.”
