For one night only in Los Angeles, Madonna is putting eight of her iconic looks on display.
“Madonna’s Fashion Evolution,” takes place on April 25 at the Macy’s Century City location in L.A. It’s the first time the Material Girl has lent out pieces from her personal collection for a display that is solely dedicated to her costume history, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The exhibit, which is in conjunction with Madonna’s clothing line, Material Girl, sold exclusively at Macy’s, will include stage costumes like the infamous wedding dress she rolled around in at the 1984 MTV Music Video Awards and the Jean Paul Gaultier cone bra she wore during her 1990 Blonde Ambition tour.
She’ll also show off the neon green stretch skirt she wore in the video for 1984’s “Borderline.” The piece was part of the 1984 collaboration between designer Vivienne Westwood and artist Keith Haring.
The show will also feature some recent looks like the pale purple beaded silk corset by Christian Lacroix and black spandex boy shorts by Capezio she wore for her 2004 Re-Invention tour.
See “Madonna’s Fashion Evolution” on April 25 from 6-8 pm in the Material Girl shop at Macy’s Century City location in Los Angeles.
