Well, it’s official, Duck Dynasty will resume filming in the Spring after Phil Robertson’s anti-gay comments in an interview with GQ magazine. A&E put Phil on an ‘indefinite hiatus’ from the series on December 18th after saying that his views do not reflect those of A&E’s.

This opened up a whole can of worms in terms of the ‘freedom of speech’ argument. Many said he had a right to his own opinion while others agreed with the network’s punishment.

A&E’s parent company, A+E Networks released a statement this afternoon ensuring fans that the show would return, patriarch and all.

Read the statement HERE.

I personally think this is all happening WAY too soon. No matter your stance on the issue, it should have been given a little time to die down. A&E couldn’t imagine losing their biggest moneymaker therefore they had to resolve the issue as fast as possible.
