Lady Gaga Opens Up About Depression & Fame in Harper’s Bazaar
By Annie Reuter
Lady Gaga was no stranger to the headlines in the year 2013. Her aggressive promotion of ARTPOP — which included a life-size Gaga doll and pop-up shops — as well as her much-discussed SNL performance with R. Kell, kept music fans and critics talking. But this time, Gaga has the floor.
Throughout her Harper’s Bazaar cover story, Gaga opened up about her year and how’s she’s changed since she came onto the music scene, why she wants to perform in space and where she keeps all of her costumes.
“I’m actually not very different at all,” she said of her rise to fame. “I work all day, do research, sketch my ideas, prepare for performances. My experience with fame has been the opposite: ‘How can I stop this from changing me?'”
