Stephen Colbert will appear on David Letterman on April 22nd. He has been chosen to replace Letterman when he retires in 2015.

CBS has NOT hired Chelsea Handler to replace Craig Ferguson. They released a statement after she posted an Instagram photo of her holding a CBS manual. The network says there are no discussions with her regarding the network’s 12:30 late night broadcast.

True Detective has officially become the most-watched freshman series in the history of HBO. The drama starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson earned an average of 11.9 million viewers per episode. The previous was held by Six Feet Under which averaged 11.4 million.
