What a great weekend of free and FUN!  I can’t believe how fast this summer is moving.  It is actually sad!

Thanks to Dana Vento who is right here in Pittsburgh and is our Frugal Mom, she helps find great events for us to tell you our Bubba Show family about.  Look at her website here.

First, take a look at all that is going on till July 21st with CELEBRATE downtown Pittsburgh.  Some events are FREE and most are FRUGAL!

Project Pop Up: Fashion Market: Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Downtown retailers, fashion trucks and other local fashion vendors will fill Market Square and you can have an amazing day with great weather!

Project Pop Up: Picnic: Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. The new restaurant Hundred Wood will offer three pre-ordered picnic lunches in the Upper Mellon Green at Ross Street and Sixth Avenue. Picnic blankets will be provided. Entertainment by local singer Joel Lindsey.  Some of these aren’t totally free, but you can’t beat checking them out.

Salsa in the Square: Friday at 5 p.m. Live music by Machete and free dance instruction by Las Sabras Dance Company in Market Square.

All Access Downtown: Saturday. Five walking tours offered by the Pittsburgh History & Landmarks Foundation; a special tour of public art by the Office of Public Art; many churches open and available for
tours; rooftop of U.S. Steel Building, Cultural District venues and Downtown residential properties available for tours.

Open Streets Pittsburgh: Sunday from 8 a.m. to noon. Sixth and Market streets are closed to vehicular traffic from the Clemente Bridge to Market Square. Free programs include yoga, Zumba, dance classes, climbing walls. Hosted by Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership, Bike Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh Cultural Trust. The Pittsburgh Vegan Festival Kick Off has FREE admission and great food you can buy!  The information is right here.

On July 19th you can help clean up downtown with a volunteer event and help Pittsburgh and make a difference.  It should be a great weekend to do it.  Look here.

If you have a bike (which I totally do right now) that needs looked at or fixed you can tinker with it and learn and help that poor bike out for FREE.  It is in East Liberty on July 19th.  Look here.  My poor 9 year old has a bike with a bum chain that needs fixed!  It happens in Carnegie from 2-4pm.

FREE concert in the parks at certain allegheny county parks.  July 20th at Hartwood Acres there are some and SouthPark.  Look here.

More CINEMAS in the park action for you!  July 20th Mary Poppins at Schenley…July 19th Grandview has Mary Poppins and July 19th Saving Mr. Banks too.

All SPRAY park are free!  The closest one to me is Round Hill Farm.
