Earlier this year, A Great Big World released the song and video ‘Won’t Stop Running.’ AGBW’s Chad King said the song was written as a response to his doctor after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2007.
King said, “[The doctor] diagnosed me with Multiple Sclerosis and said I’d be paralyzed within 7 years. That was 9 years ago, and I’m feeling as healthy as ever treating the disease with a holistic/nutrition-based regimen.”
Now, the duo has a new version of the video featuring stories of others who ‘won’t stop running.’
“We’re really proud to share the music video we just made, highlighting 12 “won’t stop running” stories that moved us deeply,” King wrote in an email to 100.7 Star.
They’ve also created a website and hope others will share their stories. “In addition to the amazing people in our music video, we will be adding fan submissions to make this a much bigger campaign,” he said. “We want to show the world that there is another side to all the negativity and fear brewing out there – the ability of the human spirit to endure and persevere.”
