Justin Timerlake’s ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ Nominated for Golden Globe

Also nominated: Stevie Wonder, Iggy Pop and Lin-Manuel Miranda

Justin Timberlake has received a 2017 Golden Globe Awards nomination for his song “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” which he wrote for the movie Trolls. The full list of nominees was announced early Monday morning (Dec. 12)

The other musicians nominated in the category of Best Original Song, Motion picture were Ryan Tedder, Stevie Wonder, Iggy Pop and Lin-Manuel Miranda.

In addition singer Hailee Steinfeld received  a nomination for Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for The Edge of Seventeen.

The five songs nominated for Best Original Song are listed below alongside the film and writers.

Best Original Song, Motion Picture:

“Can’t Stop the Feeling” from Trolls. Music and lyrics by Justin Timberlake, Max Martin, Shellback.
“City of Stars” from La La Land. Music by Justin Hurwitz; Lyrics by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul.
“Faith” from Sing. Music and Lyrics by Ryan Tedder, Stevie Wonder and Francis Farewell Starlite.
“Gold” from Gold. Music and Lyrics by Brian “Danger Mouse” Burton, Steve Gaghan, Daniel Pemberton and Iggy Pop.
“How Far I’ll Go” from Moana. Music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda.

The 74th Golden Globe Awards will air live at 8 p.m. EST/5 p.m. PST on Sunday, January 8.
