School Angel Since I'm a teacher, I tried to figure out a way to incorporate your angel idea into my classroom. I found an angel that I could write all of the teachers and ither school officials names on and display in my classroom. I attached it to the bottom of the flagpole so that every morning the students would see it. This tragedy has caused our school to put an armed police officer in every building of our district who wand search every person entering the building. Before we just had regular security guards walking the halls. Thank you for the beautiful idea. The word believe on the angel gives hope that the world will be alright. Merry Christmas, Mishelle
angel for Olivia Engel This angel comes from Melanie's (Bubba Show) daughter. Her daughter chose Olivia Engel after she read with ALL 26 stories with Melanie. She said she chose her because "she reminds me of me Momma." Read more about Bubba Show's Angel Project here.
Angel Tree We did this earlier today, although you wanted an angel for the children we put up 20 stars and 6 doves for the people killed in the Newtown shooting!! America's Best Contacts and Eye Glasses, Pleasant Hills, PA
Angel for Dylan Hockley I wanted to buy 27 angel including one for the shooter's mom, who everyone is forgetting about, but this one is for Dylan Hockley. My son is an elementary teacher and his birthdate is 3/12. Very close to Dylan's birthday! Also, his last name reminded us of hockey, we are big hockey fans. Connie

Angel for Olivia Rose Hi Bubba, We placed an angel on our Christmas tree in memory of Olivia Rose Engel, age 6. Her smile brings tears to my eyes. Something about the sparkle in her eye touched me and I cannot imagine the unfathomable grief her family must be feeling. Thank you for doing this. Such a wonderful way to keep the names and memories of the victims alive. Merry Christmas, Kathleen McLaughlin & children Emily, Max, and Danny
Angel for Vicki Soto From Sandy Harton: for Vicki Soto, the young woman who courageously gave her life to save so many precious children. May she rest in peace.
photo I decided that this year instead of decorating my cubical at my office with the traditional decorations I would take the time and write down all the names of the victims on an angel and hang them up. It was sad to see so many angels hanging in my cube, but knowing that everyone who walks by will see and remember them. I also printed a part of President Obama's speech which reads "Here in Newtown, I come to offer the love and prayers of a nation. I am very mindful that mere words cannot match the depths of your sorrow, nor can they heal your wounded hearts. I can only hope it helps for you to know that you’re not alone in your grief."
DSCN1634 I have made a homemade ornament in honor of the children of sandyhook. Inside is each name of each child that lost their life that day. They will hang on my tree and forever have a Christmas.
7th Grade Class Angels My name is Ms.Liz Popowicz, and I am a 7th Grade English/Social Studies teacher at Propel Montour, a public Charter School right outside the city of Pittsburgh. On Monday of this week, my students each read the names of one of the victims and viewed some news coverage of the events that took place on 12/14/12. They were deeply moved and immediately wanted to do something to help. They wrote letters that will be sent out this afternoon, and are wearing badges today on their uniforms that represent the name of one of the children or teachers that were taken too soon. In addition, after listening to your morning show, I suggested to the students that we participate in the "Angel Project". My students made Angels that represented the child or teacher they felt most connected to. Every child is represented, some more than once. This was a truly moving week for me as a teacher, seeing my 7th graders independently want to help and feel so empathetic towards the children. Many of them have brothers and sisters that are the same age as their new Angels. I am going to forward you three emails from this address that have pictures of their Angels, and a picture of the angel that I created for Victoria Soto, the victim who I feel the most connected to. Thank you for doing this project. It is a great ting you are doing for the victims and the community of Newtown. Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year to you and the rest of the morning crew! =) -Sincerely, Ms. Liz Popowicz =)
Angel for Victoria Soto
Angel Hi Bubba, I wanted to share my angel picture for posting on your website. Thank you for setting this up so folks can share their photos/stories. Since I couldn't choose just one child, my angel is for all of the children. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. God Bless, Brooke Fornalczyk
Angel Bubba, I found the perfect angel for the Angel Project. At first I put it on the tree, but I decided it was best to keep out all year, so she will sit in the living room watching over everyone. I keep going through the news articles and reading carefully about each victim. This event has effected my heart so much that I can't possibly pick one soul to honor with our angel. I have decided that our angel will honor each one lost. Thank you for this project. It means more than I could describe as I searched for a way to help. Taryn Misner
