Adam Lambert recently sat down with Mix 96.5/Houston and shared some of the music on his iPod. Two of the tracks that came up were Katy Perry’s “Part of Me” and Goyte’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
Adam Lambert has been busy promoting his recent release Trespassing and stopped by Mix 96.5/Houston to discuss what it was like working with Lady Gaga and his love for Kelly Clarkson’s new single.
“We had to do some last minute work on the album. [We] worked on some new songs and had to extend the release date a little bit but I think the fans will not be disappointed,” said Lambert.
“It’s the Idol stigma. On red carpets at awards shows, other musicians are either really open to embracing me and being friendly and being associated with me, or they just don’t want to,” he said. “A lot of times it’s in my own head, but it feels like a political move to be friends with someone like me.”
The band and Lambert will play four European shows this summer, including one in Kiev, Ukraine alongside Elton John.
