Ellie Goulding and Zedd are both set to feature new songs on the upcoming soundtrack for sci-fi flick Divergent, set to hit big screens on March 21.
Goulding will kick off the tour in New York City with a show at the Theatre at Madison Garden on March 12.
The romantic short, which was actually shot entirely on a phone (the Nokia Lumia 1020), depicts Goulding playing the titular “Issy” role.
The female bill was as wide-ranging in all corners of pop as Perry’s latest effort, “Prism,” so not only was the benefit concert Perry’s creation, it also served as a celebration of the new album.
The twins told Radio.com that they’re excited to perform alongside Katy Perry and the three other ladies on the ‘We Can Survive’ bill, but even more excited to be associated with the Young Survival Coalition.
The tracklist for ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’ soundtrack has been revealed and it features a few well-known artists alongside some familiar up-and-comers.
Goulding’s loungey take on the song includes an acoustic guitar and a little piano, along with the British singer’s raspy delivery, adding a little sexiness to the ballad.
