Sometimes it’s an honor just to be nominated. On the other hand, lots of great songs from films don’t even get an Oscar nod for Best Original Song.
The synth-heavy “Welcome To New York” was written by Swift and Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic.
For their latest video, OneRepublic have decided to highlight one special person: Bryan Warnecke.
For OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, writing a track for the film was a personal project.
“I’ve heard everything we’ve done and I’m as proud of it, or prouder of anything we did on the first album, and she is sounding even better than ever,” Tedder said.
“Once I heard the production and the direction that we went with on this song, it inspired me and everyone on my team of this new sound.”
Supporting their latest release, ‘Native,’ the band will spend the summer on the road with The Script.
Ryan Tedder is joining The Voice as the show’s first ever in-house producer and songwriter.
Sara Bareilles is hitting the road behind her latest album, The Blessed Unrest.
“My tour manager said I was singing that song through my stupor and pain so I knew at that point that was going to be the single,” Will Anderson said.
